Somya sachan is a production designer and an art director based out of Mumbai, India. Passionate, agile and visionary she strives for meaningful and original creations. Her work is deeply inspired from urban surroundings, natural spaces, symmetrical aesthetics and bold forms which transforms each story into a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.

 

Every project is meticulously planned and executed. Research, numerous artboards, technical aspects, physical labour and her OCD comes well into play till she gets it right.

 

During her time off she is either traveling the world or eating her face off which she does pretty well. She loves meeting new people and exploring the creative industries of her likes. A major cat magnet, she also carries off a dead tinder profile while doing Bachata on the dancefloor.

 

Her body of work includes indie films, short movies, musicals and music videos. Apart from this she has numerous advertisements, fashion styling and visual merchandising projects under her belt.
